Community Guidelines

Welcome to the BUILD Learning Hub!
This is your space to learn, connect, and grow as a leader and entrepreneur. To keep it safe, positive, and inspiring, here are a few guidelines we ask everyone to follow:

1. Keep It Positive

Share ideas, questions, and feedback that help others learn and grow. Don’t post anything violent, graphic, offensive, or spammy.

2. Stay Safe: Protect Your Privacy

Keep your personal information private. Don’t share personal information, such as your full name, birthday, email address, phone number, or home address. The same goes for other people’s information. This keeps everyone safe. To learn more, check out our Data Privacy Policy.

3. Respect Each Other

Everyone deserves to feel safe and supported. Bullying, harassment, or hate speech of any kind is not okay here. Treat others the way you’d want to be treated.

4. Messaging in the Hub

The Hub has clear messaging rules:

  • Students can only message their teachers.
  • Teachers can message their students and BUILD staff.
  • There is no student-to-student messaging.

This setup helps keep conversations safe, focused, and supportive.

5. Welcome Everyone

The BUILD Learning Hub is for students and educators from diverse backgrounds. Respect and celebrate differences in race, gender, identity, culture, and perspectives. Everyone should feel like they belong.

6. Stay Focused on Growth

This space is about building skills, trying new ideas, and practicing entrepreneurship. Keep your posts and conversations connected to learning, teamwork, and opportunity.

7. Follow the Rules

Be responsible. Don’t share anything illegal or copy work that isn’t yours. School rules and laws still apply here.

8. Live the BUILD Mindsets

In everything you do here, practice the skills that make great entrepreneurs:

  • Develop self-agency
  • Maintain resilience and grit
  • Foster a growth mindset
  • Pursue adaptability
